OTI Junior Cup Tennis Europe Tournament for 12-year-olds was contested in Kaya Belek-Antalya on November 8-16 with the participation of 150 tennis players in total, 25 of whom were national players, from 25 countries.

During the tournament participated by the best tennis players of 25 countries, including also Turkey, the players from Germany, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, England, Hungary, Moldova, Ireland, Armenia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Portugal, Latvia, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine, who had ranked 1st and 2nd in the national qualifications in their own age groups have competed keenly with each other. Leo Borg, the son of the legendary Swiss tennis player Björn Borg, has participated in the tournament together with his private trainer and the players from Sweden, Denmark and Norway within the scope of the Euro Elite tour organized by Dave Bandelin.

At the end of the final matches played on November 16, the Russian Player Daria Vidmanova won the final match while Turkish player Zeynep Sena Sarıoğlan, born in 2002, managed to qualify for final. In the boys category, German national player Moritz Stoeger became champion by defeating Romanian national player Sebastian Gima. As for the double matches, the final match dominated by Russian players in the girls category was won by the Russian-Belorussian team, while the Russian-Ukrainian team defeated the Romanian couple in the boys category.

Russian national team player Maria Shusharina and Moldovan national team player Ilya Snitari were awarded with the “Best Performance” cups by OTI Holding for their high performances.

During the surprise “player party” held in the evening of Thursday November 13, various contests were organized for the young talents, each winner of which were awarded with one week holiday in Turkey by Coral Travel.  The young tennis players who have had moments of pleasure throughout the party have left the stress of the tournament behind and had some entertaining time.
