ODEON Tours received the ‘EFQM 5 Star Level of Excellence’ certificate, which it was entitled to by going through the Business Excellence Model Site Evaluation Process – conducted by EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) established in order to improve the organizations in Europe in terms of sustainability – successfully, in the 22nd National Quality Congress held at Istanbul Congress Center between the 12th and the 13th of November. In this way, ODEON Tours took one more step to the great prize in quality management.
OTI Holding focuses attention on quality standards
Being the first company in Turkey that obtained the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standard Certification covering all travel agency services, ODEON Tours also received the ‘EFQM 5 Star Level of Excellence’ certificate. ODEON Tours became the first Turkish tourism company that reached this level.
ODEON Tours participated in the 22nd Quality Congress, which was officially sponsored by ODEON Tours, with one stand and the “150 Year of Tourism in Turkey” exhibition. The congress was held in a series of sessions (with various titles) with the participation of many senior managers and professionals, and ended after the award ceremony on the 13th of November. The EFQM Certificate of Excellence was received by General Manager Vahit Petek on behalf of ODEON Tours.
